Ranged Units

Ranged units shoot from the middle or back row during the ranged phase, each picking a random enemy in the front row. Their ranged attackRanged is usually far stronger than their melee attack, so they want melee units standing in front of them.

  • A ranged unit pushed into the front row cannot shoot. It fights in the melee phase with its melee attack instead.
  • Ranged fire ignores nothing. The target's armor reduces it like any other hit, and so does the tile's defensive bonus when the target is defending.
  • The back row is what enemy flankers go for.
